I lived in the Midwest and lived through snowfalls of many inches over many days, where life went on. No school closures. You still were expected at work. You may have got to go home early and sled with the kids. You excepted the snow and lived on.
Here in Washington the amount of whiners and pessimists who cannot imagine driving, working or even getting out of bed when there is a light dusting is amazing!
Fair enough if you don’t think you can drive in the snow. However with as little as we have had the roads are at worst a little slushy.
Appreciate the snow! It makes the landscape beautiful and uniform. Those ugly unkempt gardens are just as nice as the manicured ones. The kids have fun with the silliest of snow fights.
