It is amazing how time goes fast. It has been four weeks since the boys were born. A weird chasm of time where nothing is perfect but some things are near that. I feel closer to Casey than ever before. It is a nice feeling when you thought you could not get any closer before.
This afternoon we picked up Charlie and Jackson’s ashes from the Funeral home. It is nice to have them home. The only disturbing thing is that they didn’t fit in the little urn, so now we have a little urn and a plain box with them. We would prefer them in one urn/container. Anyway regardless
On September 1st my sons Charlie and Jackson were born. At only 23 weeks along they were perfect little babies but too little to survive. Casey has detailed the whole event and her feelings on her blog. I think what Casey has said about them “only knowing love”, is the most comforting thing of all.
