So I lasted my 21 days of the cleanse without a single lapse. The worst thing I did was lick the tiniest piece of peanut butter of my hand when Lauren was climbing over me with apples with peanut butter. Pretty darn good!
So what did I see as the benefits?
- I was disciplined enough to last 21 days! I think that is no small feat. No bread, sugar, dairy or caffeine. Just veges and fruit and then the chicken and fish after the first 10 days. In the end it was not a big deal and although I love certain dairy and the sauces you make with it, I could have gone longer.
- I lost 10 to 15 pounds. Not bad for 21 days.
- I think the lack of dairy may have helped with my sinuses, however it did not kick in until a couple of weeks passed. I don’t think it made enough of difference to drop dairy for good though.
I would defiantly recommend the cleanse to others. I would also do it again myself. I will probably watch what I eat even more carefully than in the past. I still have to worry about my blood pressure and I could loose a little more weight.
